Client Work

Students work directly with clients to build real products and services, gaining valuable experience in product development, user research, and stakeholder management.

  • User research (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
  • Journey mapping and identifying friction points
  • UX/UI wireframes and clickable prototypes
  • Product strategy support (problem framing, prioritization)
  • Lightweight development when needed (front-end builds)

What students worked on

  • Vlogmi AI: Built a full front-end web app and iterated on core user flows.
  • H‑E‑B: Evaluated and proposed improvements to the in-store app experience.
  • Kendra Scott: Improved customer support chatbot flows and response quality.
  • Aceable: Supported product research for California prelicensing course.

Projects are semester-long, learning-focused, and pro bono.
