Texas Product Catalyst

@UT Austin

Texas Product Catalyst Is an inclusive community for individuals striving to break into product managment, regardless of their major, background, or where they are in their careers.

The Journey

How TPC Works

Starting in you first semester and onwards.

1 Semester 1

Learn the Curriculum

Every new member starts with a semester-long curriculum covering the ins and outs of product management, from problem framing to prioritization to execution.

2 Semester 1

Weekly Product Challenges

Lightweight weekly challenges put that week's lesson into practice. Complete them with your assigned product team to earn points and sharpen the skills as you go.

3 Semester 1

Product Project & Demo Day

Your product team takes what you've learned and builds it into a real MVP over the semester, then pitches it against every other team at Demo Day.

4 Semester 2

Client Work

Second semester, you're paired with a real client, from large companies like Kendra Scott and IBM to early-stage startups, for hands-on, impactful product work.

5 Ongoing

Committees & Leadership

As you move past your first semester, you can join committees and take on leadership roles to help shape organization and drive impact. Committees include Marketing, Professional, and Internal.
